The vast majority of lacrosse players will have played in a tournament but very few will have organized one. The success of the Nick Kehoe International tournament does not come down to who won, the standard of play or how many teams took part. It comes down to did we as a club do everything we could to host a well run and enjoyable two day lacrosse event as well as did we raise much needed funds for the development of our club.
There has been a colossal amount or work going on in the background to put the event on this year and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank those club members who have worked hard over the past few months to make things happen. We are better prepared than in previous years and many more jobs can be ticked off the listed this coming weekend during the working party on Sunday 13th April.
Now as much work as we've done to date, it will be undone if we fail to get enough bodies out over the actual weekend of the 3rd and 4th May to run the 2 days. It's like having a play, unless you execute it correctly and every player does their job then it's worthless and you will not experience success.
NOW is the time that YOU need to step up and GIVE BACK to the club.
