Senior Ladies Team

After a successful first season in the NWLA league, the Senior Wilmslow Lacrosse Women’s Team are once again entering a combined team with Norbury. We’re an open-minded, fun, and supportive team for players aged 14 and above, welcoming everyone from complete beginners to seasoned pros. Whether you’re picking up a stick for the first time or looking to take your game to the next level, we’re here to help you improve, stay fit, and enjoy the fast-paced excitement of lacrosse. Our team is all about growth, teamwork, and having a great time on and off the field. Come join us and be part of a dynamic, empowering, and ever-improving squad! Senior Ladies Team

Alys Johns

Position: Defence
Number: 81

Alys has proven her leadership qualities and earnt the captain role of the ladies team. An athletic defender who although only picked the game up a few short years ago at Manchester Metropolitan has been willing to put in the work and has represented North and also a member of the England Women's Box training squad during 2024.

Beth Frank

Position: Attack
Number: 30

A graduate of Lancaster Univerity, Beth is a strong left handed attack player who has proven to be a vital part of the Wilmslow offense. Continues to improve game after game and is a highly motivated member of the team.

Amy Nolan

Position: Attack
Number: 32

Amy is a talented offensive minded player that can play straight attack or come through the midfield, she can also compete well on the draw. One of the Wilmslow Ladies team's leading scorers.

Beth Ablott

Position: Attack
Number: 12

Since Beth joined at the beginning of this season she’s disrupted other team’s defense by being a driving force and is one of our ever improving players. When she’s not playing for Wilmslow she’s leading Derby Hurricanes on and off the pitch.

Georgia Muncaster

Position: Attack
Number: 13

Georgia is one of the longest serving women's members, a hard working attack player that has great stick skills. Off the field Georgia works as a vet.

India Cooper-clark

Position: Midfield
Number: 91

Never seen without her speaker, India always brings the vibes and keeps the team motivated. She’s a prominent force all over the pitch and can often be found winning the draw.

Kate Russell

Position: Attack
Number: 25

Kate started off as a water polo player and made the move to Lacrosse during her final year at Nottingham Trent, during the gradual lifting of the covid restrictions. Since then she’s dedicated herself to assisting goals and calming the attack by settling the ball, ensuring we keep our shape. Kate’s a positive and supportive member who helps organises the club’s socials.

Kate Evans

Position: Goal

After a 9 year hiatus from the sport, Kate, returned to the club she used to play for at youth level and she’s slotted right back into the club. Kate is a commanding figure in goal who has no problem directing and leading our defensive unit - it’s hard to tell
she went years without playing.

Katherine Wadge-Berrospi

Position: Attack
Number: 72

As a recent graduate from Manchester Metropolitan, Kat made waves being a formidable force on her university team and now is bringing that same energy to Wilmslow Ladies. Originally a defender, Kat has been playing since youth. Nowadays, you can see her scoring goals and being an agile attacker.

Kelsey Hammond

Position: Midfield
Number: 31

Kelsey is co-captain for the senior ladies, running through the midfield she also takes many of the draws for the team. A key squad member who also contributes much to the club off the field.

Maggie Elliott

Position: Attack
Number: 80

Maggie is one of the newest members of the Wilmslow women's lacrosse team, picking up her stick again after playing at school and university. She’s a super-agile and slippery attacker, who defenders can never take their eye off.

Maisy Deykin

Position: Defence
Number: 24

Maisy has proven to be one of the team's most valuable defenders with an impressive game IQ. Maisy is a strong one v one player, who communicates clearly and concisely to organise the defensive unit.

Libby Dudley

Position: Defence
Number: 2

Libby is a strong defender with brilliant communication skills and knowledge of the game. She’s always keen to learn and improve, and is the first to support her team members too.

Tallulah Freeman

Position: Attack
Number: 35

Current Manchester Met student Tallulah has been playing since childhood - and it shows! She has fantastic stick skills and a fearsome check. She gives 100% every single time and is especially ruthless winning groundballs.

Phoebe Shellman

The team were already familiar with Phoebe’s amazing all-rounder skills from our time merged with her former team Stoke - so we were delighted when she made the move to Manchester and Wilmslow. She’s a real threat all over the pitch - and a doctor to boot!

Megan Graves

Position: Defence
Number: 4

Meg is Wilmslow’s very own Duracell Bunny. She’s putting all her energy into her new role in defense after a move from the midfield. She is a fantastically positive team mate and even volunteers as a Girl Guide Leader.

Phoebe Blakeley-Crewe

Position: Midfield
Number: 33

Phoebe has solid stick skills not just on the women's field in the box, in 2024 she narrowly missed out on a place in the England Women's Box Lacrosse team. Phoebe is also a very keen Polo Crosse player.
