NKI25 Day One Review

NKI25 Day One Review

Well day one did not disappoint. It was jam packed with action over 3 fields in the men's tournament. We also successfully hosted 8 youth county girls teams on the front field. The feedback on how well run the event was today is a credit all the amazing volunteers who have work tirelessly for many weeks running to the tournament and you could see people grafting hard today.

Massive thanks to Glenn Hodnett for all the film work he did today, if you missed the action then you can watch so of the games from today on Lacrosse Live UK, at the point of writing this blog todays games have had nearly 1600 viewers. You'll be able to tune in to the live stream of Sundays action too both the men's and women's tournament.

There's the results of day 1 of the men's tournament.

A tough day for Welsh Dragons. Nederlands ran North West very close. Scotland Blue look like real contenders. If you are familiar with the event you'll know that day 2 is the business end to tournament as the teams are split to 3 new groups and play for 3 different titles.

The ladies event starts too and is steadily growing, up 3 teams from last year and the hope is we get 12 for NKI26. It's really refreshing to see growth in the game right now. Come down and catch the action at Wilmslow, the NKI is and always has been an incredible event not only to play in but also a great family event as spectators. We'd love to see you.
