Not long to go now boys.

The first team face Wacsbury at home, a strong team that are no push over. They will want revenge after the loss of 10-6. The field and crease markings were bizarrely small on the first encounter which did not suit Wilmslow, playing on a full size field this weekend will be far better suited to the athleticism of the Slowtown midfield.

Although Wilmslow will miss a number of key players this weekend, the depth we now have as a club means spots will be filled by players more than capable to come in and do a solid job. The A team's promotion last season has given the senior men's squads an excellent training ground for those players aiming to make first team appearances, the very fact that today the A sit 3rd in their new division really is a sign that as club we are making huge strides forward to improving the standard of lacrosse available at Wilmslow.

The B team will face Boardman & Eccles away. A tight clash in a one goal game saw B & E take the points early in January and they were to take a Wilmslow scalp again in the early round of Cup play. Wilmslow have a stronger team line up for this weekend and are hopeful that will come out the win.
