It's all set to be an action packed weekend of lacrosse with all 4 senior and both youth teams playing this Saturday.

The men's 1st team will be looking for the win vs Cheadle A in the Junior Flags tournament, in late December Wilmslow lost 8-9 with Cheadle going on a late run of goals in the last quarter. Wilmslow know that they will be underdogs having also lost 10-7 in last years final to the same Cheadle side. Although both teams missing a number of players last fixture and this one, on paper Wilmslow should still have the depth to push through but will need to be focused on the prize and minimize time in the penalty box.

Wilmslow A will face Cheadle Cup in David Beesley Cup, a clash between 2 of the 3 top teams in Division 1, back in mid December Wilmslow were defeated 6-8 in a low scoring game. Wilmslow will need to make the most of possession and converted their chances to take the win.

A long road trip is ahead of our B team with them playing away to Border City up near Carlisle. It's always tough to do these long trips but the B team could just surprize Borders.

The lady's will be eying up Brooklands as a game to take points from. A win would see them climb above Brooklands and take 6th spot in the division.

The Under 14's will have their work cut out against a strong Poynton side who have only lost once this year but Wilmslow are a young team and are showing constant improvements each week.

The Under 12's hope to take a win vs Cheadle Hulme, a team which seem to played very few games so far this year. Much like the U14's, Wilmslow have made steps forward with each game and are becoming a more competitive group of players as they gain more game experience.
