Loss of a true Wilmslow hero

With great sadness Wilmslow Lacrosse Club (WLC) share the news that past WLC president Raj Kapoor died peacefully at home with his daughter and son by his side on Thursday the 1st, April 2021. He was one day shy of his 87th birthday. The passing of a true gentleman: Andy Wilson (Senior)

It is with great sadness we must advise that Andy Wilson (Senior) passed away peacefully on Sunday 8th November at Wythenshawe Hospital. As many of you know, Andy had been ill for some time & in Wythenshawe Hospital. He sadly tested positive for COVID19 earlier this week. Andy’s wishes are not to have a funeral service but to be cremated & his ashes scattered on the Lacrosse fields at an appropriate time in the future. Read more…

Return to Training

Date : 02/06/2020 Hoping this post finds all our members safe and well in this unprecedented time we find ourselves in. WHAT a Season 2018/19

With our AGM approaching to put a close to our 2018/19 season it is a time for reflection. With our U12’s players joining in a mixed CheadleHulme/Wacs/Norbury team they have had the best of seasons, being able to merge teams from clubs without issues is simply brilliant and something which will happen again this coming 2019//20 season until our own U12s programme is producing enough players to field a full team.
