Huge congratulations for Josh Simpson-Pink on his call up to team GB. Lacrosse will feature in the 2028 LA Olympic Games and we all wish Josh the best of luck with his Olympic journey, he is one of the most talented midfielders in the country right now and although he is still not long back to the field after what could have been a career ending injury, Josh ended the 2023/24 season strongly and we expect his to be one of our most dynamic players this coming year.
Those older Wilmslow players and supporters may also have noticed one of our former players, Jamie Powell has also been selected on the GB training squad. An unbelievable achievement considering Jamie coaches lacrosse at girls school and rarely gets to play club lacrosse in the season!
