Wilmslow Lacrosse has a growing Junior section and are always looking to expand. We have teams for both boys and girls, focusing on our U10 and U12 squads who frequently take part in local development tournaments.
The club welcomes boys and girls of all ages to give lacrosse a try and the first session is free to attend. As a club we have been actively involved with the delivery of sport across many schools in Cheshire, if your school is interested in an introductory session with one of our qualified coaches when please contact
Our winter training takes place at Wilmslow Phoenix Sports Club on a Thursday evening from 6pm with our fabulous coaches. All equipment can be supplied.
Meet the Coaches
Jimmy Holt
Goalkeeper for the 2023/24 Senior Flags winners Stockport, Jimmy has a wealth of playing experience and has been coaching lacrosse over the North West during the past two years introducing lacrosse to primary schools, delivering coaching sessions to University teams and has been a regular member of coaching staff at Bolton School.
Ethan Chapman
Another product of Wilmslow’s youth program, Ethan has been involved with junior development over the past few seasons and is a talented long stick midfielder on the senior 1st team who has represented Wales at a U20 World Championship.
Jack Parry
Frazer Hunter
A real utility player on the field and a huge asset to the junior coaching crew. Frazer has been a regular 1st team player the past few seasons and is currently a member of the Scotland performance training squad.
Daryl Chatterton
Having taken a number of years away from the sport, Daryl found the love for this great sport once again when he was persuaded to dust of his gear and join Wilmslow Lacrosse Club. An absolute gem of a human and we are lucky to have him as a player and a junior coach.
Jack hopes to be back at the club this season having missing most of the past two seasons with injury but hopes to be back playing and coaching this year. Jack has played lacrosse at Wilmslow as a youth player and as a senior has been a valuable 1st team player.
Wilmslow Lacrosse Club and all our junior members would like to thank the The Lacrosse Foundation (TLF) for their large grant funding.
This funding will help support our current junior members and many more to come over the following years. It especially helps WLC to provide growth in our junior development and will help form new home grown teams moving into future seasons.
The TLF support has become a backbone to so many clubs looking to promote lacrosse within their local communities.
We thank you TLF for your ongoing support!
